Our Blondie is Turning Four

Our beautiful little girl turns four soon. As her birthday approaches Ive been pondering what a spark she adds to our home. We would be a pretty quiet almost boring family without her. She came into this world a 5 lbs 7 oz wailing ball of anger. Which made me laugh :o) How could one so young and tiny be so fiercely angry about being born? She settled down and lo and behold aside from her temper she ended up being my easiest baby.

Her siblings love her because of how loud and fun she is. Tiny will run around the house laughing at her and trying to copy what she does. George plays with her constantly, shes his best friend. Shes so loud that some days it seems like this is the only conversation Blondie and I have, "Blondie, how far away am I standing from you?" Blondie says, "Right beside me." Me, "Do you need to talk so loud?" Blondie, "No." "Please talk quieter then". Because she really does have a voice that can hurt your ears.

Blondie speaks her mind. If she doesnt like something, she'll let you know. If she wants to know why the lady at the checkout has something on her head (a large mole), she'll ask... Much to my embarrasment. If she wants something, she'll ask about it... 50 times a day. Blondie sprints through life with joyful, loud, and messy abandon. She could care less what anyone thinks about her. She knows what she wants and goes for it. Shes the child that has frustrated me the most. There are days I have to lean completely on Gods wisdom in how to handle situations that arise. Along with the ornery she has a tender heart, she'll do something really naughty and we'll take care of it. Several hours later its obvious that shes been thinking about what she did because she'll say "Im sorry Mommy for doing..." It encourages me.

She makes us laugh, she makes us smile, and she lights up our lives.

Im so thankful God blessed us with YOU as part of our family Blondie. We love you baby girl!
